How we deliverA fifty-year plan that needed something people could click on
The plan
A Queensland Government department had a fifty-year plan for the state’s timber industry. It was a good plan. It was also a document, and nobody could see how it would work in practice.
What we built
In a few months we built a working tool the department could use: real data, real regions, real scenarios. Something to click on, not read.
What happened next
The tool became the basis of a three-year roadmap that is now moving to funding, with Nuvanta delivering it.
Research that became a workstream. Procurement that became a strategy.
Research that became a funded workstream
We published independent research on benefit-sharing models for renewable energy zones, Sharing the Upside. A NSW energy department bought the report, then funded a workstream to build the models out. The research is now shaping how communities share in the projects on their land.
A procurement job that became a governance strategy
A WA statutory fund engaged us to run a procurement for a records system. Working through the requirements showed the real problem was governance, not software. We delivered the procurement and a records governance strategy the fund could stand behind.
